Project, the Wildlife Heritage
Center Museum is proud to
be home to the
"Our Hunting
Heritage"
display.
Mission:
To inform and
educate the citizens
and visitors as to the
rich natural
resources and
abundant wildlife that
we all share as part
of our history and
heritage in Southeast
Oklahoma.
Goals:
  • To promote the conservation of wildlife resources, habitat and biodiversity
through scientific research, propagation and wildlife management.

  • To increase hunting and fishing participation and regional tourism growth
    in Southeast Oklahoma.

  • To promote responsible co-existence between wildlife and human
populations and help preserve the greatest possible diversity of wildlife
through public awareness of current wildlife conservation practices.

  • To provide a place where children, adults, students and teachers
embrace the values of wildlife conservation and natural resource
    management through interactive educational exhibits.
